Our museum building, designed by Marengo Morton Architects, provides over 18,000 square feet of exhibition and support space. It features a spacious lobby, a museum store, galleries dedicated to the island's history and special exhibitions, and ample exterior space for outdoor events and concerts. The design blends Spanish Mission and Art Deco influences, paying tribute to the rich history of Catalina Island. The Catalina Museum for Art & History is committed to collecting, preserving, and promoting the culture and history of Santa Catalina Island.
