## Description

Cat Global News (CGN) is a parody news network that presents human affairs from the perspective of cats. Its tongue-in-cheek premise is that cats are the only genuinely objective observers: indifferent to human concerns and unconvinced by their importance. The site features fictional headlines about feline priorities, such as acquiring a box without caring what is inside or adapting when a sun patch moves. It also introduces its on-air personalities, including Chief Anchor Santino “Sonny” Sesta and Senior Windowsill Correspondent Mittens Delacroix.

CGN offers a newsroom-style experience through its broadcasts, anchors, staff information, and CGN Newswire. However, the site notes that no broadcast has yet cleared the desk, so its programming is currently off air. The project identifies itself as satire and states that it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or impersonating any real news organisation. Its cat correspondents are portrayed by real cats with their humans’ permission, and the network humorously assures visitors that no cat was asked to hold an opinion it did not already have.
