Established in 2015, the journal flourished from discussions held among scholars at the University of Southern California on the future of Catholic literary expressions. It is proudly affiliated with Caldwell University’s Department of English in Caldwell, NJ. Presence publishes an array of poetic works annually each spring, featuring diverse voices that explore the nuances of the Catholic imagination. With a dedicated fall reading period from August 1 to October 1, the journal invites submissions of original poetry, along with book reviews and literary critiques. In addition to its publication, Presence actively engages with the literary community through events and conferences, fostering dialogues on the role of faith in contemporary literature. The journal also provides a platform for talented poets and encourages the exploration of spiritual themes, contributing to a vibrant literary tradition that honors both the past and the present. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Books and Literature _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Literature _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/presencejournal) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idaIU8EsK-/w/546/h/304/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1744793484869) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idaIU8EsK-/w/2048/h/2048/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1744793485673) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Smalt Blue | #55748f | accent | | Outer Space | #2f4141 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - proxima-nova — asset _(custom)_ - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
