## Description

Cathrin Machin is a space-art brand dedicated to bringing the beauty of the universe into everyday life. Created by artist Cathrin “Cat” Machin, its work aims to help people feel connected to the cosmos and find moments of calm through vivid images of deep space. The artwork is produced using a mix of oil painting, acrylic painting and astrophotography. In recent years, Machin has developed her astrophotography practice, capturing celestial subjects with her own telescope and seeking striking ways to reveal the night sky.

The online store offers space-themed art prints, calendars, cosmic desk pads, interstellar puzzles and galactic comforters. Prints and calendars are presented as works by Cathrin Machin and Ian Lauer. Together, the range brings astronomical imagery to walls, workspaces and home furnishings, with options for both display and leisure. The brand’s focus is on making the universe’s visual richness accessible through creative products, while drawing attention to the wonder of the stars and the effects of light pollution on seeing them.
