## Description

The Cattlemen’s Ball of Nebraska is a 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to raising money for cancer research through an annual community fundraising event. Since its inaugural Ball in 1998, the organization has raised more than $19 million. Ninety percent of proceeds support cancer research at the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center in Omaha, while the remaining 10 percent goes to health and wellness initiatives in the host community.

Held in a different Nebraska location each year, the Ball gives local communities a chance to showcase their region and celebrates beef as part of a healthy diet. The 2026 event is scheduled for June 5 and 6 in Cozad. Visitors can take part in activities such as a golf outing, art show, entertainment, health screenings, and the Calf-For-A-Cure raffle. The organization also offers event tickets, lodging information, and opportunities to support its cause through donations, including memorial gifts. Through its annual gathering and community programs, the Cattlemen’s Ball connects fundraising, cancer research, and local engagement across Nebraska.
