Catya Plate is a distinguished artist, director, writer, animator, and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from Barcelona and raised in Germany, Plate has been pushing the boundaries of stop-motion animation since her arrival in New York in 1987 on a Fulbright Scholarship.
