## Description

Cauveri Development Office, established in 2001, is dedicated to advancing the welfare of the marginalized communities in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu, particularly focusing on dalits, youth, and women. Operating under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, Cauveri serves as a pivotal development wing that facilitates socio-economic growth through strategic planning, project management, and capacity building.

With a mission rooted in dignity and empowerment, Cauveri aims to transform communities by addressing critical needs and fostering sustainable initiatives. Their array of services includes vocational training programs, women’s self-help groups, and community-based resource identification, all tailored to meet local cultural contexts.

Cauveri has played a vital role in disaster relief efforts and environmental awareness through eco clubs, underpinning their commitment to holistic development. Their vision encompasses a society free from discrimination and poverty, striving to cultivate justice, peace, and equality.
