## Description

**Cave Family History Society (Cave FHS)**

Established in 1976, the Cave Family History Society (Cave FHS) has transformed from a modest gathering of four descendants to a thriving global community of family historians and enthusiasts. With members spanning the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the USA, and beyond, the Society welcomes anyone interested in the Cave family and its diverse variations worldwide.

The primary mission of Cave FHS is to foster connections among those exploring the origins, history, and evolution of the Cave family. The Society is dedicated to preserving vital records, documents, and monuments of significance to its members. It produces a bi-annual journal featuring contributions from its members and hosts an annual gathering to engage and educate family historians.

Cave FHS collects extensive genealogical data, including ancestry charts tracing lineages back to the 13th century. It also provides access to numerous historical records, such as census returns and civil registration indexes. Run by dedicated volunteers, the Society is affiliated with notable organizations in the genealogy field.
