## Description

The Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF) is a proud champion of community broadcasting, supporting Australia's largest independent media sector. Their grants provide essential funding to organizations in radio, television, and digital media, enabling them to communicate, connect, and share knowledge with their communities. With over $18.7 million granted this year, the CBF supports 173 organizations, including First Nations, ethnic, LGBTIQ+, and print-disabled Australians. They aim to enrich people's lives by ensuring a diverse range of choices in media content. By supporting local stories, news, and cultural content, the CBF reflects the perspectives and communities that make up Australia. Their funding also helps connect people, with over five million Australians tuning in to their local radio stations weekly. The CBF is united by its vision and beliefs, placing community broadcasting at the heart of every community. They value collaboration, partnership, and transparency to support a resilient sector for the long term. By working with community broadcasters, content producers, and sector organizations, the CBF is helping build a strong and resilient future for community media.
