## Description

The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity (CBHD) is a Christian academic research center at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. It examines ethical questions at the intersection of biomedicine, biotechnology, science, technology, and human dignity, bringing a distinctly Christian perspective to its work through academically rigorous and accessible resources. CBHD serves researchers, students, healthcare professionals, and the wider public with educational programs, research, and commentary on contemporary bioethical issues.

Its offerings include a research library, the Pellegrino Special Collection, fellowships, membership, courses, workshops, and an annual conference. The center publishes Dignitas, a bioethics journal, and Intersections, alongside articles, reviews, and practical resources on topics such as assisted suicide, euthanasia, fetal tissue research, and end-of-life care. CBHD also produces the Bioethics Podcast, featuring conversations with its staff, fellows, and colleagues, and provides Bioethics.com, a public service sharing news and events across medicine, science, and technology. Through these services, the center supports thoughtful engagement with the moral challenges raised by scientific and technological change.
