## Description

The Fondation CBM Luxembourg is a charitable foundation established in March 2021. Its mission is to prevent and treat avoidable blindness and support the inclusion of people with disabilities in society, so that poverty or disability does not prevent people from participating in community life. The foundation currently focuses its work on Angola, Laos and Madagascar, supporting projects that address local needs in eye health and disability inclusion.

Its activities include cataract prevention and treatment, eye-health initiatives for children, and training for medical professionals. In Angola, projects aim to extend eye-care services to rural communities and advance training in eye surgery for Portuguese-speaking ophthalmologists. The foundation highlights cataract surgery as an effective way to restore sight for many people who are blind.

Supporters can donate once or monthly by bank transfer, Wero or credit card. Contributions help fund practical needs, including medical kits for cataract surgery, surgical training for Angolan doctors and cataract operations for children. The foundation also shares news, project updates and information about its mission.
