## Description

Councilor is an accounting, advisory, and wealth management firm serving businesses, individuals, families, and nonprofits in the Washington, DC, and Bethesda area. Formerly known as CBM, the firm builds on more than a century of service, combining institutional experience with an integrated approach to complex financial and business decisions. Its goal is to help clients turn financial, regulatory, and strategic challenges into clear, confident next steps.

Councilor’s services include audit and assurance, accounting and financial advisory, tax planning and compliance, transaction advisory, and divorce and dispute advisory. For individuals and families, it also offers investment management, financial planning, and trusts and estates guidance. Financial planning is provided through Councilor Wealth, a fee-only subsidiary.
