## Description

Chesterfield Bariatric Surgery is a surgical practice serving patients in the St. Louis and Chesterfield, Missouri, areas. Led by board-certified surgeon Dr. Deepu Sudhakaran, the practice focuses on personalized, compassionate care and supports patients through their weight-loss and surgical journeys. Its services include bariatric surgery, general surgery, endoscopy, and robotic-assisted procedures. Bariatric options include gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, and revisional surgery, with the appropriate approach determined in collaboration with each patient. The practice highlights robotic and advanced laparoscopic techniques, which use small incisions and may support reduced pain, scarring, and recovery time compared with traditional open surgery. Patients can explore candidacy, request appointments, and access insurance and self-pay information. The team also assists with insurance authorization and describes a streamlined program for beginning the process, without requiring referrals or clearances for an initial appointment. Educational resources, frequently asked questions, patient testimonials, and success stories help people learn about treatment and connect with the practice.
