## Description

The Calgary Beach Volleyball Association (CBVA) is a dedicated non-profit organization founded in 1990, serving as a hub for volleyball enthusiasts in Calgary. With a vibrant community of over 800 participants each season, CBVA organizes leagues and tournaments that cater to a wide range of skill levels, from recreational players to advanced competitors. The association boasts 19 outdoor sand courts, constructed by passionate volunteers, at its scenic location in Valleyview Regional Park.

CBVA is committed to fostering friendly competition and creating a welcoming environment for players new and old. The association not only hosts a series of engaging events, including youth tournaments and the popular CBVA Beach Classic, but also values community involvement and collaboration. Acknowledging the rich cultural heritage of the area, CBVA respectfully recognizes the ancestral lands of the Treaty 7 signatories and the Métis People of Alberta. As a volunteer-driven organization, CBVA continually seeks new members and volunteers, offering many perks for those who wish to join.
