## Description

Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation Tanzania (CCBRT) is a non-governmental organization established in 1994, dedicated to providing specialized healthcare services in Dar es Salaam and Moshi, Tanzania. Initially focused on community-based rehabilitation, CCBRT has evolved into the largest provider of disability and rehabilitative services in the country. The organization is committed to enhancing access to quality health services for the most vulnerable populations, particularly women, through its recently opened Maternal and Newborn Wing.

CCBRT offers a wide array of services including surgeries for cleft lip and palate, clubfoot, and obstetric fistulas, as well as providing prosthetic and orthotic devices. Additionally, the hospital features a private polyclinic and optical shop to cater to diverse healthcare needs. With a mission to sustainably support the community, CCBRT emphasizes advocacy for disability inclusion and offers capacity-building programs. The organization is driven by core values of client-centered care, teamwork, and integrity, striving to be the preferred provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa.
