## Description

The National Collaborating Centre for Indigenous Health (NCCIH) is a vital organization established in 2005 to support the health equity and public health renewal for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities across Canada. Hosting its operations at the University of Northern BC, the NCCIH focuses on knowledge translation and exchange to enhance health outcomes. It provides an extensive array of resources, including publications, newsletters, infographics, and interactive maps, designed to address and contextualize Indigenous health issues.

NCCIH's key offerings include the Healthy Land, Healthy People Collection, which emphasizes the integral connections between land and health, and the Cultural Safety Collection, aimed at overcoming barriers in accessing health and social services. The organization also maintains databases of Indigenous health researchers and external resources, ensuring the dissemination of valuable information. With a commitment to advancing Indigenous health through comprehensive research and collaboration, NCCIH plays a crucial role in fostering optimal health and well-being within Indigenous communities.
