## Description

CCREEE is a Caribbean-focused centre advancing renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate resilience across the CARICOM region. Its work addresses barriers to sustainable energy development, including gaps in policy and regulation, technical capacity, reliable data, public awareness and access to finance. The organisation brings together regional and international partners and shares information through the CARICOM Energy Knowledge Hub, publications, events and news.

CCREEE’s programmes cover knowledge transfer and management, energy access, sustainable industry and business, sustainable transport, finance and project support, climate resilience, and sustainable buildings. These initiatives aim to expand access to reliable, affordable and cleaner energy, improve resource efficiency, support sustainable energy projects, reduce transport emissions, and help communities and infrastructure respond to climate change. The centre also provides project preparation support through its Project Preparation Facility, develops Integrated Resource and Resilience Plans, and produces Energy Report Cards. Based in Bridgetown, Barbados, CCREEE connects stakeholders through events, procurement opportunities, expert perspectives and strategic partnerships, while sharing resources to strengthen local capabilities and encourage sustainable energy solutions throughout the Caribbean.
