## Description

Carneval Club Speyer 2000 e.V. (CCS) is a carnival and community club in Speyer, Germany, celebrating the region’s lively Fastnacht traditions. Presenting itself as “the somewhat different club,” CCS brings members together through seasonal festivities, performance, music, and shared community life. Its activities include dance groups, training for participants, and Guggenmusik, alongside roles for moderators, the Elferrat, trainers, and other volunteers. The club’s website shares training times and locations, event dates, photographs, membership information, and details about its active groups.

A central part of each carnival season is the reigning Lady Carneval, whose title and personal campaign theme help represent the club. CCS also celebrates past Tollitäten and the distinctive mottos created for its campaigns over the years. Its awards include club honors and distinctions such as the CCS Merit Order, silver and gold honorary pins, the Golden Fleece, and the Golden Lion. Through performances, traditions, recognition, and opportunities to participate, CCS offers members and supporters an energetic way to enjoy carnival in Speyer.
