Cooperative Computer Services (CCS) is a consortium comprised of 29 public libraries in the northern and northwestern suburbs of Chicago. This collaborative effort allows these libraries to share a comprehensive database that includes circulation, acquisitions, cataloging, interlibrary loan, and an online public access catalog. Through CCS, library patrons have access to a wide range of resources and services, enhancing their overall library experience.

Currently, CCS libraries utilize the Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS) developed by Innovative Interfaces, Inc. This state-of-the-art system allows for efficient and seamless management of library operations, ensuring a smooth circulation process and effective cataloging. CCS is dedicated to providing transparency in coverage and is committed to offering its member libraries the necessary tools for success.

With regular newsletters and updates, CCS keeps member libraries informed about the latest advancements and reported issues.
