Comprehensive Youth Development (CYD) is a nonprofit organization based in New York City that is dedicated to equipping young adults, aged 14-24, with the skills and resources they need to build successful futures. Since 1995, CYD has been working with underserved youth to eliminate barriers to high school graduation and create pathways to higher education and employment opportunities. In collaboration with three public high schools, CYD provides a wide range of programs and services tailored to each student's specific needs.

These include college and career exposure and preparation, financial aid and scholarship assistance, tutoring, test preparation, and access to legal guidance, housing assistance, and financial support. CYD currently serves nearly 3,500 students and alumni annually, empowering them to make informed decisions about their education and career paths. The organization's ultimate goal is to help these young adults secure a successful future for themselves and their families.
