## Description

The Charles and Demetra Leonard Foundation is a community-focused organization established in 1972 by Charles and Demetra Leonard to honor the values of loved ones and give back to the community. Its mission centers on education, job services, quality of care for seniors and people with disabilities, and community outreach for families. Education is a key area of focus: the foundation offers scholarships for college and trade school and supports college savings accounts for new families through 529 plans. It also assists families and individuals facing practical hardships, including unmet basic needs, medical bills, utility costs, and challenges affecting seniors. Beyond direct support, the foundation organizes community events that bring people together through family and fellowship, and invites volunteers, donors, and event sponsors to help extend its work. Businesses can also connect with the organization through affiliate opportunities. Through these programs and partnerships, the foundation aims to make a positive impact in its community while continuing the legacy of its founders.
