Its work begins with the needs identified by individuals and communities, and its approach places effectiveness and sustainability at the center of project development. Community members and local leaders are involved throughout, with donor seed funding helping launch initiatives before local stakeholders take responsibility for continuing them. CDNA’s perspective on health includes physical, mental, and social well-being, as well as prevention and access to information and resources. The organization also promotes education as a respectful exchange of ideas and understands community development as collective action toward a more inclusive, cohesive, and sustainable community grounded in equity and justice. Its listed initiatives include an international medical conference, an HIV catchment and linkage clinic in David, Panama, sexual and reproductive health work for women in vulnerable conditions in Veraguas and Chiriquí, and support for health centers in the Comarca Ngäbe-Buglé. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Public Health and Safety _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/CommunityDevelopmentNetworkOfTheAmericasCdna) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id57Yr_f7Q/w/383/h/162/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792970288329) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id57Yr_f7Q/w/1088/h/1088/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792970288569) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Nutmeg Wood Finish | #622f00 | accent | | Sepia | #6f3511 | dark | | Havelock Blue | #52a2dc | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
