CDS Co-operatives is a charitable community benefit society that has been providing, supporting, and promoting co-op and community-led housing for over four decades. Originally established in 1975 to support the development of new housing co-ops, CDS has now expanded its role to own and manage homes across the South East of England. At CDS, our core purpose is to empower individuals and communities to shape their living environment, whether it's at home, in their neighborhood, or within their community.

We are deeply rooted in cooperative values and believe in the power of cooperation as an effective business model and a valuable set of skills. As a regulated housing association, we own 700 social rented homes and 300 leasehold properties in London and the home counties. Additionally, as the largest co-op service agency in the South-East, we offer landlord and business services to approximately 40 co-ops.
