## Description

The CECB (Cantonal Energy Certificate for Buildings) brand is dedicated to promoting energy efficiency and sustainable building practices in Switzerland. Established through the association GEAK-CECB-CECE, it provides a standardized system for assessing the energy performance of buildings in accordance with national energy laws.

The primary offering, the CECB, is the official energy label that evaluates a building's energy envelope quality, overall energy balance, and direct CO2 emissions, categorized on a scale from A to G. For enhanced insight, the CECB Plus provides additional advisory reports with improvement recommendations. Moreover, the CECB for new buildings sets specific energy efficiency targets to optimize operation and usability from the outset.

CECB emphasizes three key metrics: the quality of the building envelope's insulation, overall energy efficiency including renewable energy use, and the assessment of direct CO2 emissions. This comprehensive approach helps property owners identify renovation needs, access financial subsidies, and connect with certified energy experts, thus fostering informed and sustainable decisions in building energy management.
