## Description

Caledon East Children’s Place (CECP) is a non-profit childcare organization serving families in Caledon East, Ontario, since 1988. It provides inclusive early learning and care for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children, with a focus on quality, community, and family partnerships. The centre’s programs follow Ontario’s early-years frameworks and incorporate elements of the Reggio Emilia approach. Its toddler program, for children 18 to 30 months, uses the HighScope approach to encourage active, play-based learning in a supportive, sensory-rich environment. Preschool care serves children aged 30 months to five years through full-day routines, outdoor play, small-group learning, and activities in areas such as language, math, science, and creative arts. Before- and after-school care is available for children aged four to six, with extended hours, outdoor time, group activities, and opportunities to develop academic and creative skills. CECP also offers waitlist access, parent resources, subsidy information, and support for children with special needs through PIRS. Families can receive daily updates, photos, and messages through the HiMama app.
