## Description

CECI is an international development organization working to advance sustainable, inclusive prosperity and well-being. For 67 years, it has partnered with local organizations and communities across Africa, Asia, and the Americas, collaborating with 8,000 local organizations and involving activities in 35 countries. Its work focuses on expanding economic opportunities for women and young people, advancing the rights of women and girls, and strengthening inclusive governance and humanitarian action.

CECI supports sustainable and inclusive economies by promoting innovative business models, inclusive business environments, climate solutions, and community resilience. It works with local organizations and women’s rights movements to improve access to education, health, safety, and decision-making, while helping address social norms and strengthen essential services. Its governance and humanitarian initiatives encourage participation by women, youth, and marginalized groups and help communities respond to crises.

CECI also offers ways to take part in its work, including international volunteer placements, business mentorship, partnerships, and donations. Its projects and documentation centre share resources and stories from its programs.
