## Description

The Centre d’Estudis dels Ports (CEP) is a regional cultural and research organisation focused on the history, society, language, and natural environment of the Ports area. Through public events and publications, it shares local knowledge and encourages engagement with the region’s heritage. Its programme includes talks, conferences, exhibitions, documentary screenings, concerts, literary events, and science outreach activities, often held in towns across the comarca.

CEP publishes and promotes a wide range of resources, including the Papers dels Ports journal, the Revista Au!, monographs, books, educational guides, bibliographies, and pamphlets. Topics featured include local history, medieval women, community life, biodiversity, and the region’s landscapes and traditions. Its activities also connect with local groups and initiatives such as Amics de Morella i comarca, Aplec dels Ports, Els Ports en moviment, Festa Estellés, and the Observatori Ciutadà de la Biodiversitat dels Ports. By bringing together researchers, writers, educators, and residents, CEP provides a platform for learning, discussion, and cultural participation throughout the region.
