## Description

Cedille Records is a renowned classical music brand founded by James Ginsburg with the aim of sharing exceptional recordings by musicians and composers from Chicago. With a history spanning over three decades, Cedille has been dedicated to promoting and supporting the city's classical music community. As a nonprofit record label, Cedille's mission is to produce and distribute audiophile recordings that showcase the talent of classical music performers and composers in and from Chicago. Unlike other labels, Cedille keeps all albums in its catalog indefinitely, offering a permanent documentation of the artists' work. Recognized with numerous awards, including eight Grammy Awards and 30 nominations, Cedille's recordings consistently receive critical acclaim. By providing outstanding performers and composers with a global platform, Cedille Records celebrates the cultural richness of Chicago's classical music scene and continues to produce meticulously crafted recordings of the highest quality. Join Cedille's mission by donating today and supporting their ongoing commitment to preserving and promoting classical music excellence.
