## Description

The Environmental Forum is an independent, membership-based non-governmental organisation and registered charity in Ireland. It brings together individuals, community and voluntary groups, businesses, and public-sector organisations to address environmental challenges and help create a better world. Guided by the principle of sustainable development, its work aims to meet present needs while protecting the ability of future generations to meet theirs.

The Forum develops and delivers projects that respond to environmental issues, including initiatives focused on the circular economy, sustainable transport, biodiversity, and climate action. It raises awareness of the climate and biodiversity crises and supports practical action through education, training, research, seminars, workshops, and community programmes. Its activities also include environmental policy submissions, work with communities affected by harmful development, events, and partnerships that build networks for change.

People and organisations can engage through the Forum’s projects and campaigns, training courses, events, and membership options for individuals, families, groups, and corporate members. Donations and memberships help support its mission to foster, promote, and implement viable development in Ireland.
