## Description

The Central European Journal of Politics is an electronic, peer-reviewed journal and the official publication of the Central European Political Science Association (CEPSA). Published twice a year by the Department of Political Science at the Faculty of Arts, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University, it provides a platform for original, theoretically and methodologically grounded research in political science. The journal particularly welcomes comparative and interdisciplinary work focused on Central and Eastern Europe, while also considering research on other regions when it offers findings relevant to future study of the area. Its scope includes comparative politics and the formation and operation of multilevel political systems, as well as related fields such as sociology, international relations, security studies, geography, area studies, media studies and political economy. Articles may use quantitative or qualitative approaches and address political processes across national, regional and local levels. The journal’s website provides access to current and archived issues, articles, author guidelines and information about editorial policies, peer review and publication ethics.
