## Description

CEKADO is a platform for giving and receiving items free of charge between individuals. Its guiding principle is simple: pass on things you no longer need rather than throw them away, and discover items offered by other members. There are no sales, prices, or payments; recipients collect items directly from the giver.

To offer an item, a user posts photos, a description, and their city, a process CEKADO says takes about two minutes. Interested users apply using one token per application. After the application period, which lasts 24 or 48 hours, an algorithm randomly selects a recipient. Applicants who are not selected get their token back, so the process is not based on who responds first. The chosen recipient then collects the item for free.

CEKADO also offers browsing and search, user dashboards, and messaging. Members can invite friends: a referred person receives three tokens when creating an account, and the member earns three when that person confirms their first item donation.
