For the very first time, the Cayman Islands will have a comprehensive public resource dedicated to preserving and celebrating our seafaring heritage. This interactive and searchable registry not only provides information about seafarers but also serves as a vital tool for the people of the Cayman Islands.

It allows us to identify, retain, and research our cultural heritage, ensuring that future generations can learn and immerse themselves in the unique seafaring traditions of our islands. Due to the current COVID-19 Public Health Measures in Place, the 2021 Seafaring Heritage District Celebrations have been postponed.
