## Description

Celebrate Shelton is a community organization focused on bringing people together through high-quality concerts, gatherings, and events in Downtown Shelton. Formed in 2014 by local small business owners Nicole Mikula of bringtheHoopla, Michael Skrtic of The Glass Source, and Jimmy Tickey, the organization works to strengthen community ties, bring families together, and promote cultural enrichment.

Its programming includes Downtown Sounds summer concerts and Food Trucks on the River, which features seasonal editions such as the Fall event. Celebrate Shelton also hosts community occasions, including a December community tree lighting. Events are free and family-friendly, making them accessible opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy local entertainment and connect with others.

The organization invites people to get involved, learn about its events and sponsors, and support its work. It also offers email updates for those who want to hear about upcoming activities. Celebrate Shelton is based at 18 Bank Street, Suite 101, Seymour, Connecticut, and can be contacted by phone or email.
