## Description

The Town of Celebration Marathon & Half Marathon is an annual running event held in Celebration, Florida, near Walt Disney World. The 14th annual race is scheduled for January 31, 2027, and is presented by AdventHealth. Runners can choose between marathon and half-marathon distances on a flat, USATF-certified course that winds through the neighborhood; the certification makes the marathon course eligible for Boston qualifying times. The event offers race registration, volunteer opportunities, pace teams, travel and lodging information, and access to past results. Participants receive event shirts, medals, and blankets, and can download race photos at no extra cost. The post-race gathering includes food and beverages from local restaurants, pancakes, and other refreshments, included with race entry. Beyond the race experience, the event raises funds for scholarships for students across Osceola County and supports local community groups and nonprofit organizations. Organizers report distributing more than $1.1 million to these causes over the race’s first 13 years. The event emphasizes an accessible, community-focused alternative to larger races.
