## Description

Celebration Theatre is a Los Angeles theatre company and community of LGBTQIA+ artists, creating space for stories that contribute to the LGBTQIA+ conversation. Established in 1982, it has served audiences and artists for more than four decades through live performance, new work development, and community engagement. Its offerings include main stage productions, readings of new plays, benefit events, and programs that support diverse voices. The annual Trans Lineage program develops stories that illuminate transgender and gender-expansive experiences across time and cultures, with casting opportunities for participating artists. Recent and featured events range from limited-run productions and West Coast premieres to anniversary readings and one-night benefit performances. Celebration Theatre also invites audiences to attend shows, submit work, participate in auditions, and support its artistic mission through donations, including recurring gifts. Working with artists, partners, volunteers, and donors, the company aims to sustain LGBTQ+ storytelling and make award-winning arts and entertainment accessible to the Los Angeles community and beyond.
