## Description

CelesTrak is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that makes space data and related resources freely available to support understanding of the orbital environment and its safe, responsible use. Serving the space community, the organization provides current and supplemental satellite data, special data requests, and documentation. Its resources include orbital element sets, an online satellite catalog, launch and satellite boxscores, orbital conjunction reports, GPS data status information, almanacs, Earth orientation parameters, and space weather data.

CelesTrak also offers tutorials, software, publications, and a software repository, alongside analysis and coverage of launches, satellite events, debris, and other notable space activities. Users can access data in formats beyond the traditional TLE format, which is limited to five-digit catalog numbers, and are asked to follow the organization’s usage policy when retrieving data. The site shares updates, tutorials, and changes through Bluesky and provides information about CelesTrak’s history and its webmaster, Dr. T.S. Kelso. As a nonprofit, CelesTrak invites donations to help sustain its work and continue its legacy of providing accessible space resources.
