## Description

The Asociación de Celiacos de Murcia (ACMU), founded in 1994, is dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by celiac disease in the Murcia region. The organization provides essential guidance and resources for managing gluten-free diets. ACMU collaborates with various local establishments to ensure food safety, implementing thorough ingredient checks, kitchen reviews, and training programs for staff to create reliable gluten-free menus.

In addition to their advisory role, ACMU conducts educational workshops to raise awareness about celiac disease, its symptoms, and the importance of a strict gluten-free diet. The association is actively involved in advocating for reduced prices and better access to gluten-free products nationwide through the FACE (Federación de Asociaciones de Celiacos de España).

ACMU offers a comprehensive directory of celiac-friendly restaurants, cafes, and other service providers, helping members navigate dining out safely. Their commitment extends beyond food, emphasizing the need for community support and legislative action to improve the lives of those living with celiac disease.
