## Description

Cellares is a cell therapy manufacturing company that describes itself as the first Integrated Development and Manufacturing Organization (IDMO). It combines development, manufacturing, quality control, and digital capabilities to help accelerate access to cell therapies. Its services support preclinical, clinical, and commercial programs, including process translation and automation, analytical method automation, and quality and regulatory consultation.

Cellares operates a Smart Factory in South San Francisco and a facility in Bridgewater, New Jersey, with future facilities planned for Leiden, Netherlands, and Kashiwa, Japan. Its Cell Shuttle platform is designed for high-throughput, end-to-end cGMP cell therapy manufacturing, while Cell Q provides automated, high-throughput quality control testing. The company’s integrated model is intended to support scalable production, consistent quality, and predictable manufacturing costs. Cellares works with cell therapy developers seeking help translating and automating manufacturing processes, expanding production capacity, and preparing for broader market supply. Its stated mission is to meet patient demand through manufacturing excellence across a global network of IDMO Smart Factories.
