## Description

The Samhain Celtic New Year Festival is a vibrant celebration of Celtic culture, organized by the non-profit Ceili of the Valley Society. Scheduled for October 21, 2023, at the Willamette Heritage Center, this annual festival highlights the rich traditions and artistry associated with Celtic heritage. Attendees can immerse themselves in a variety of cultural experiences, including lively performances from talented musicians, such as the headlining band Blaz Dañjerus, which showcases both Irish and Breton dance music.

In addition to musical performances, the festival features a diverse range of vendors, presentations, and activities designed to engage and educate visitors about Celtic traditions. A highlight of the event is the Celtic Quilt Raffle, where attendees can win a beautifully crafted, hand-quilted Celtic quilt. The festival not only celebrates Celtic history but also fosters community involvement, inviting volunteers and sponsors to support its mission. With a focus on inclusivity and appreciation for Celtic contributions, the Samhain Festival offers a unique experience for all ages.
