## Description

CJ&D, the Center for Justice & Democracy, is a prestigious nonprofit organization established in 1998, located at New York Law School. As the only national consumer group dedicated to safeguarding the civil justice system, CJ&D focuses on ensuring that everyday Americans have equitable access to court systems, particularly when facing powerful corporate interests. The organization actively exposes the aggressive campaigns by special interests aimed at undermining the rights of judges, juries, injured consumers, and their legal representatives. With a mission centered around raising public awareness, CJ&D combats the harmful narratives associated with the tort reform movement. The organization provides a platform for educational resources, advocacy initiatives, and support for those affected by unjust practices in the legal system. Supported by a dedicated staff and an advisory board of legal experts, CJ&D is committed to promoting fairness in the justice system while relying on contributions from individual supporters to sustain its vital work. Join CJ&D in championing civil justice for all.
