## Description

CenterLine Dressage (CLD) is a Group Member Organization of the U.S. Dressage Federation, dedicated to furthering dressage through education and promotion. Founded in 1972 by three instructors and their students in central Illinois, the organization grew from a local group into a community serving riders across the region. Today, CLD has approximately 60 members and provides opportunities to learn, compete, and connect with others who share an interest in dressage.

CLD organizes an annual rated dressage competition at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, along with two schooling shows: the spring Icebreaker and the summer Fire Cracker. Its events also include the Classic I & II rated show. Educational offerings include free clinics for members, clinics with a fee, and workshops such as an event on acupressure and massage therapy. Members can take part in social gatherings, potlucks with programs, a holiday party, and the annual awards banquet. CLD also supports participation through membership, horse nominations, score submissions, awards, volunteering, and access to organizational resources and event results.
