## Description

Cento Torce SRL is an Italian limited company established in 2020 to support Professor Tom Henry’s independent art-historical work. An Emeritus Professor of Art History at the University of Kent, Henry specialises in Central Italian Renaissance art, including the work of Luca Signorelli, Perugino, Pintoricchio, Raphael and Michelangelo. His background includes academic teaching and research, authorship, expert attribution advice, and curating exhibitions at institutions such as the National Gallery in London, the Louvre and the Prado.

The company offers art-historical research and consultancy for collectors, exhibition organisers, filmmakers and documentary makers. Services include investigating attribution, origin and provenance, advising on exhibition planning, writing catalogue material, and contributing historical context and presentation for films. Cento Torce also provides bespoke guided tours in Tuscany, Umbria and Rome, tailored for individuals and small groups interested in Renaissance art. Tours may focus on museums, exhibitions, cities or specific sites, with examples including Raphael in the Vatican and the Villas of Tivoli. Henry additionally offers freelance lectures and teaching.
