## Description

The International Centre for Caricature, Press Cartooning and Humour of Saint-Just-le-Martel is a cultural organisation devoted to cartooning, satire and humour. Based in the small French village of Saint-Just-le-Martel, it brings together artists and visitors from around the world and supports the appreciation of editorial cartoons and caricature. Its flagship event is the International Caricature, Press Cartoon and Humour Salon, held annually since the early 1980s. The Salon presents exhibitions and welcomes cartoonists, with programming that celebrates the role of humour and drawing in public life. The Centre also organises exhibitions beyond the main event, shares news about artists and its activities, and maintains a photo gallery and collection of Salon posters. Its educational work introduces audiences to caricature, press drawing and humour. Visitors can find practical information, explore the Centre’s history and learn about its international community of cartoonists through the organisation’s website. The Centre is located at Espace Loup in Saint-Just-le-Martel, France.
