## Description

The Centre for Future Work is a progressive labor economics research institute established in 2020 in Canada, dedicated to improving the world of work for employees and their families. Operating independently and non-partisan, the Centre focuses on a wide range of economic issues that impact working individuals, such as job security, wage growth, income distribution, skills training, and sector-specific policies. It aims to tackle the challenges posed by globalization and the role of government in public services, creating actionable policy proposals that prioritize the needs of workers.

In addition to impactful research, the Centre offers resources like the Debunkers’ Academy and the Economics for Everyone program, which simplifies complex economic concepts for a broader audience. With a commitment to social justice, the Centre acknowledges its operations on the traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, aligning its mission with indigenous communities' struggles for self-determination. The Centre continues to shape discourse on labor economics while advocating for a fairer future of work.
