Based in Pena Branca, in Miranda do Douro, Portugal, the organization provides shelter and veterinary care for animals that are elderly, ill, mistreated, abandoned, or otherwise unable to receive adequate care. CAB also offers a new home to donkeys and mules whose owners can no longer look after them because of illness or advanced age. Alongside its direct animal care, CAB shares information about donkey welfare, basic health needs, and how to respond to suspected mistreatment. The association invites the public to support its mission through donations, membership, and volunteering, and publishes news about its animals, activities, and community initiatives. Its work is dedicated to improving the living conditions of donkeys and mules while encouraging people to understand and protect these animals. Through its care, educational resources, and opportunities to get involved, CAB connects supporters with practical efforts to provide animals with safety and ongoing attention. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/centrodeacolhimentodoburro) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — SVG, PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idvidQ6o8O/theme/dark/logo.svg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790843685658) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idvidQ6o8O/w/667/h/667/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790843686004) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Eclipse | #2f1815 | accent | | Congo Brown | #5f3f3f | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Roboto — asset _(google)_ - Bebas Neue — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
