## Description

Centro Infantil de Eixo is a community-focused early childhood and family support institution in Eixo, Aveiro, Portugal. It is operated by the Associação de Assistência de Eixo, an association with roots dating back to 1917 and a longstanding focus on social and educational services. The centre has welcomed families and cared for children since 1976, working to support children’s development and their integration into the local community.

Its approach emphasizes active learning, freedom of thought, emotional expression, affectionate relationships, trust, respect and close collaboration with families. The institution provides nursery care, preschool education and support for families, delivered by qualified professionals. Its aim is to foster children’s personal, social and educational growth from early childhood while helping families feel supported.

Families can explore information about the centre, its social services, organization and gallery through its website. They can also submit a preliminary enrolment request or arrange a visit. Centro Infantil de Eixo is located on Rua da Associação de Assistência de Eixo and is open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
