## Description

Centro Social da Paróquia de Curvos is a private social solidarity institution serving the community of Curvos, in Esposende, Portugal. Founded in 1948 and recognised as an IPSS since 1991, the organisation works to promote social, educational and cultural well-being through services grounded in dignity, care and respect for people. Its support is designed for children, young people and older adults, with more than 300 service users and 12 social care offerings.

For young children, the centre provides a safe, stimulating crèche for ages four months to three years, using active pedagogy to support development. Its after-school provision for primary-school pupils combines recreational activities with study support. Older adults can receive personalised home care, including help with personal hygiene, meals, medication and psychosocial support. The centre also offers residential care for older people, with ongoing assistance, medical follow-up and activities intended to support quality of life.
