CEPA, or the Centre for Poverty Analysis, is an independent think-tank in Sri Lanka dedicated to addressing poverty-related development issues. With the belief that poverty is an injustice that must be overcome, CEPA works towards influencing poverty-related development policies at various levels - national, regional, sectoral, and programmatic. Established by a group of nine professionals in 2001, CEPA conducts research, consultancy, evaluation, and training to promote a better understanding of poverty and bring about policy change.

CEPA's areas of focus include Basic Services and Social Protection, Sustainable Development, Livelihoods and Employment, and Social Cohesion and Reconciliation. Through its research, assessments, impact monitoring, dialogue and exchange, and training and facilitation, CEPA strives to make a tangible difference in the lives of those living in poverty.
