## Description

ČEPS, a.s. is the exclusive operator of the Czech Republic’s electricity transmission system, the high-voltage backbone connecting electricity producers with distributors. Its role is to transmit electricity safely and reliably while maintaining the balance between generation and consumption, an essential condition for stable operation of the power system. The company operates, maintains, renews and develops the national grid, including 45 substations, 79 transformers and nearly 6,000 kilometres of very-high- and extra-high-voltage lines.
