## Description

Cervia Ama il Libro is a cultural association and summer literary festival that brings authors, books and audiences together in Cervia, Italy. Its flagship event, “Cervia, la spiaggia ama il libro,” is presented as an inclusive programme connecting the town’s beach resorts with evening walks and cultural gatherings in the city centre. The 34th edition runs from 3 July to 15 August 2026, continuing a long-standing event that has grown into a recognised part of Italy’s summer cultural calendar.

The festival offers meetings with authors, opportunities for dialogue and shared cultural experiences for a varied audience. Its 2026 programme also includes Filosofia sotto le stelle, the Sarchiapone event, Vip Master and Ferragosto with the Authors. A highlight is Lo sbarco di Ferragosto, alongside a programme of books and literary events. The association works with institutions, organisers, partners, volunteers and local businesses to deliver the festival and promote Cervia as a welcoming cultural destination.
